Losing your job can be an incredibly trying time, but some see it as an opportunity to follow their dreams. Adrian de la Cerda found himself out of a job after working for a non-profit organization for 10 years, but before he left he asked about a school bus with a turbo diesel engine sitting on the organization’s property.
For just a thousand dollars, Adrian purchased the used bus and started planning for what he could do with it. Having always dreamed of opening a restaurant with his wife, Adrian de la Cerda started tearing out the interior of the bus to replace the seats with a double fryer, 3 burner flat top grill, and a custom point of sale door.
Now, Adrian’s food bus “Lady Bird” is becoming a Houston staple, well known for its burnt-orange paint job, hand-painted logo, and the delicious aroma of bacon-wrapped franks in its dust. Find out more about Lady Bird in a video from ThePostGame.com, which can be seen below.
